City of Portland Cannabis Tax To Benefit Local Communities of Color

PORTLAND, OR (Aug, 2016) – On November 8, 2016, Portland City voters will vote on the allocation of 3% of recreational marijuana sales tax to a number of causes, including the support of minority owned businesses and communities of color. The current state tax on recreational marijuana sales is 25%.
